THERE is a house for sale in Rooi Els in the Western Cape for R60m. It is called the Glass House and it sits on its own outcrop with unobstructed views of the ocean from almost every angle.It is ultra modern, with plenty of ash wood, steel, concrete, granite and, of course, glass. I took a brief walk around it the other day and it is stunning, but while I appreciate a beautiful property, in my opinion the asking price is ridiculous. But I am no property expert.The thing is, though, that there are people who are. They will be in awe of its location, its views, its minimalist design.
