CAROL Sanderson, owner of Casambo Exclusive Guest Lodge in Mpumulanga, lives the high life. Today she feasts on lamb shank, but she grew up on meals of pap, spinach and rodents. Her unmarried mother abandoned her and her three siblings when she was seven years old.
