DEPUTY pension funds registrar Rosemary Hunter is standing firm on her demand that there should be an independent probe into how the Financial Services Board (FSB) handled its dormant fund cancellations project.This is despite her employer finally having made two crucial reports, which investigated the matter, available to the public.To support her request, Hunter has included a supporting affidavit from a whistleblower, which could prove devastating for insurer and administrator Liberty.Hunter took the FSB to court, demanding reports compiled by retired judge Kate O’Regan and auditing firm KPMG on the matter. She has now asked the court to appoint an independent institution to investigate more than 4,600 cancelled funds.
