Seattle/San Francisco — Dara Khosrowshahi acknowledged some of the myriad challenges he will face as CEO of Uber Technologies but described the job as an "opportunity of a lifetime". Speaking publicly for the first time since being picked to run Uber, the outgoing Expedia CEO suggested he planned to tackle allegations of sexual discrimination and systemic cultural issues at the ride-hailing giant. While Khosrowshahi indicated he intended to take the position at Uber, he declined to discuss the status of his appointment, as did his current and future employers.
