The Sowetan newspaper reports that Gupta family representatives were 'hauled over the coals' by top ANC leaders at a meeting at Luthuli House on Monday where they were asked to explain their political influence over ANC leaders.The report said ANC secretary general, Gwede Mantashe, had confirmed the meeting with representatives of Gupta companies including Ajay Gupta, the president's son, Duduzane Zuma and Moegsien Williams among others.Mantashe was quoted as saying: "We did not meet a family, we met a company" and that this was one of many companies which the party met.
