A group of men, headphones firmly in place, arrive at the SA Social Security Agency’s (Sassa) Pretoria office every day, work and leave, but no-one knows what they do. They are part of the controversial workstreams that were hired to help Sassa put a plan together to take over the administering of social grants. "They just come in, close the doors, and work, work, work, work, work from 7am to 5.30pm. You will see one of them from time to time making coffee.
