It’s panic stations out there. It’s not bad. It’s very, very bad. I don’t mean bad like the fact that former SA Airways chair Dudu Myeni sent a sick note to parliament last week, much to the ire of MPs, skipping another opportunity to clear her name of the very many allegations against her. Parliament is terrible for Myeni, by the way. Every time MPs call her to appear she gets horribly ill. I think this is the fourth time she has fallen ill just by getting a call-up from the people’s representatives. They must just stop calling her to account. Anyway, it turns out that on the same day she was too sick to go to parliament Myeni made a miraculous recovery and was spotted tucking into dinner and some grape products out in Tshwane. The City Press said it had "spotted Myeni at the four-star Garden Court hotel in Hatfield, Pretoria, at about 10.30pm on the day she was expected to testify.
