There are times when I wonder if people pause to think before they post on social media. Yet I am also grateful that the immediacy of social media affords us the opportunity to get inside the heads of some of our elected public officials.
The mayor of Ekurhuleni, Mzwandile Masina, was the talk of the town last week after he took us into his mind with this tweet: "Black people must unite, these arrests are targeting … black professionals and black business. We need to stand up and be counted. Some Whites have been stealing with impunity and they not arrested. It’s now or never."..
