Several of EFF leader Julius Malema’s sensational predictions have proved to be pretty close to the mark. They include: Arrest of finance minister Campaigning in the municipal elections in May, Malema told residents of Cape Town’s Khayelitsha that the "Zuma government" would arrest Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan because Zuma was pressured to replace Des van Rooyen as finance minister in December and put Gordhan in the post. Malema said: "When Zuma put Pravin‚ Zuma’s people came to me and said, ‘We don’t want Pravin and we know you guys don’t want Pravin.
