JSE- and London-listed Capital & Counties (Capco) is a British-based property investment company whose origins are in the overseas property assets assembled by former Liberty Life founder Donald Gordon in the 1980s.
In its first incarnation, under the name Liberty International, it consisted of shopping centres in the UK and Spain as well as two key assets in London — the Earls Court redevelopment project and iconic West End tourist destination Covent Garden...
