If I were ever to be presented with the opportunity to choose who to believe between Malusi Gigaba and Daniel Matjila, it would be the easiest assignment I’d ever had. Similarly, I wouldn’t have to think about it if Gigaba were replaced by his deputy, Sfiso Buthelezi, in the assignment. In fact, to even be asked to make such a choice would be as absurd as believing Jacob Zuma can ever be good for anything other than his masters in Saxonwold. The very thought is comparable to that of letting Gigaba be the stokvel treasurer while Buthelezi handles the church’s tithes.I don’t want to get in trouble with the gods, but the fire of hell would rain down upon that church. Ask the Passenger Rail Agency of SA (Prasa), where Buthelezi was chairman for six years. Ask his successor, Popo Molefe. Buthelezi seems quite skilled.
