In these tremulous times jittery investors might quickly develop a penchant for companies with a single operational focus and easy-to-understand business models. Further comfort may be found if companies are managed by conservative executives that are fixated by cost containment and cash-flow generation.
Some companies that fit this mould may include Combined Motor Holdings, Astral Foods, Bowler Metcalf, Afrimat, Spur Corp and Nu World Industries...
