BUSINESS DAY TV: Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan believes that the pension industry may need some strong medicine to get the sector back on track as the number of complaints launched with the office of the pension funds adjudicator have rapidly increased. Joining us on News Leader to discuss this further is Muvhango Lukhaimane the pension funds adjudicator. Muvhango ... so the release that went out with your annual report says firing on all cylinders. Close to 10,000 complaints finalised, and that’s compared to 6,300 in 2015 and 78% of them finalised within a record six-month period. So are we looking at more capacity or more complaints? MUVHANGO LUKHAIMANE: You are definitely not looking at more capacity, you are looking at more complaints.
