The Economic Freedom Fighters’ (EFF) Gauteng secretary Malesela Ledwaba has been arrested by Vereeniging police for an alleged assault and house breaking.Ledwaba was arrested on Sunday at the party’s office for an alleged attack on his fellow comrade whose house was also broken into earlier this month.It had been alleged that the victim‚ who was a member of the provincial legislature‚ was attacked after he refused to resign from that position.It had also been alleged that Ledwaba and a group of EFF members went to his house in Sebokeng and forcefully entered the house and assaulted him.EFF national secretary-general Godrich Gardee said he getting more information on the matter.“I heard about that issue. I am following up on it to verify those allegations and to establish facts‚” he said.Vereeniging police were not immediately available to comment. – TMG Digital
