The Eskom board is doing further interviews for the position of CEO after the resignation of board chair Mpho Makwana. 

This is after 147 applicants for the CEO post were reviewed since the departure of André de Ruyter in February. Dan Morokane was recommended by Makwana to the government shareholder, public enterprises minister Pravin Gordhan, but the recommendation was declined after Gordhan accused the board of flouting the guidelines of the process. ..
