It took a court application for the university eventually to comply so that Roux can prepare a plea in the lawsuit. Erasmus said they had a mountain of documentation to wade through to make sure that the university had complied with all their requests.Once that process was completed, and there were no outstanding documents, Roux would respond to the charges against him. But if there were outstanding documents, he was entitled to go back to the university to request them.The civil charges relate to Roux’s time as president of the Maties Rugby Club between 2002 and 2010.
