His undying love of boxing saw him apply to Boxing SA for a promoter’s licence and it was granted in February.Pedi is the youngest promoter in the country and he will hit the ground running. The young man from Pellissier in Bloemfontein, who is based in Linden, announced that his newly established Two Shots Promotions will stage a seven-bout maiden tournament at Walter Sisulu Hall in Randburg on April 10.Ironically, Maemu will headline the bill in a non-title fight against Khatiso Hlahane over eight rounds.
