DISGRUNTLED EFF members in KwaZulu-Natal have threatened to take their fight with the party to court, saying they did not recognise the interim provincial leadership announced by the party on Sunday.EFF leader Julius Malema and the entire national leadership were in Durban at the weekend for a provincial general assembly and to address grievances by members.Malema addressed delegates in the city’s Jewish Hall amid heavy security as dozens of irate members were prevented from entering the venue.The EFF leader dismissed the protesters as "criminals and thugs", and accused their ringleaders of being on the payroll of the ANC. He told delegates that those who were unhappy in the party they can leave at any time.Malema also said the disbandment of the EFF’s KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape structures was due to these provinces’ poor election performance in the August local government polls.The rebels are unhappy with the party’s list nomination process in the run-up to the local government...
