In a year’s time the US will inaugurate a new president. As things stand, notwithstanding his legal problems it looks like the man taking the oath of office could be Donald Trump, the enormously divisive self-styled “blue-collar billionaire”.      

While the US is increasingly distracted from a volatile world by its internal divisions, bubbling up in commentary around Republican primaries and Trump’s various legal misadventures, the increasingly likely prospect of Trump 2.0 seems to be far away from SA’s thinking.
