The Federation of Unions of SA (Fedusa) says it fully supports legal action by South African Airways pilots against the union in the Dudu Myeni matter. Oops! Scratch that. The union actually supports pilot action against Myeni, although it sent out two e-mails to the media announcing that it supported pilot action against Fedusa before the correction eventually followed. The national airline is not flying high these days, at least when it comes to probity in its business dealings. If Fedusa’s Freudian slip is anything to go by, it appears Myeni’s hold on the airline is so Draconian that the union inadvertently indulged in a little Maoist self-criticism. Not surprising considering the antiwhite-monopoly capitalist tendencies of Myeni and other Jacob Zuma supporters.
