A student in Nigeria claims to have come up with scientific proof that same-sex marriage is wrong. The Huffington Post reports the so-called discovery was made by Chibuihem Amalaha, a postgraduate student at the University of Lagos, who told Nigeria’s This Day Live that he had conducted "experiments" in physics, chemistry, biology and maths to test his theory, ultimately deducing that the repulsion of two similar entities (the positive or negative poles of magnets, for instance) proves that same-sex marriage is wrong. In a series of befuddling explanations, Amalaha, who says he hopes to one day win a Nobel Prize for his work, cited magnets, electrolysis, animal mating and simple addition as rationale for why gay relationships just aren’t right.
