President Jacob Zuma was on Friday hosting his South Sudanese counterpart‚ Salva Kiir Mayardit of the Republic of South Sudan‚ in Pretoria. "The two heads of state are expected to review bilateral co-operation between their two countries as well as the latest regional political and security developments on the continent‚" the South African presidency said in a statement. Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa on Thursday made "a courtesy call" on the Sudanese president at the Johnny Makhathini Diplomatic Guesthouse‚ Waterkloof‚ Pretoria. Ramaphosa is a special envoy of President Zuma to South Sudan.
