International Association of Athletics Federations is being assailed by more claims of corruption

London — Just as the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) is about to endorse wide-ranging changes to its governance aimed at making the organisation more ethical, transparent and accountable, the world athletics governing body is being assailed by more claims of corruption. On Thursday, IAAF council officials will receive an update from the task force looking at progress being made on antidoping in Russia and whether there is any indication the country could return to the fold a year after being banned.
