THE top stables of Sean Tarry and Mike de Kock took a back seat at last Saturday’s Grand Heritage meeting, but it should be a different story at the Vaal on Thursday with both yards likely to be among the winners.Tarry has prospects of notching a double with Africa Rising (second race) and Liege (seventh) while De Kock will be expecting his three-year-old, Al Hamid, to exit the maidens in the first leg of the jackpot.Africa Rising, the mount of in-form Lyle Hewitson, ran second behind the useful Mogok Master last time out and will start favourite to notch the second win of his career.However, the Visionaire colt may not have matters all his own way if the De Kock inmate Janoobi is anywhere near his peak after a 23-week break.
