IT IS a veritable feast for racing fans this weekend — four South African horses in action in Europe, the Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe and a 28-runner cavalry charge in the inaugural running of the R750,000 World Sports Betting Grand Heritage at the Vaal.The South African horses are Smart Call — due to have her first overseas race in the Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday — while Yorker, Harry’s Son and Same Jurisdiction have been entered on the Chantilly card in France on Sunday.Jockey Anthony Delpech has flown to England and will partner Smart Call — winner of the J&B Met in January — for the first time. Leading UK bookmakers give Alec Laird’s filly little chance, quoting her as a 14-1 outsider.
