FORMER KwaZulu-Natal education MEC Peggy Nkonyeni has quit politics, along with economic development MEC Mike Mabuyakhulu."I have resigned‚" Nkonyeni said on Tuesday."I want to migrate to the corporate sector. My ANC leaders are supportive of this move‚" she said.Asked where exactly she was going‚ Nkonyeni said she had not decided. "Not decided yet. I want to rest for a month and reorganise myself."Nkonyeni‚ an SACP member‚ joined the legislature in 1999 and by 2004 she was an MEC for health.In 2009‚ she became the speaker of the legislature following a tumultuous ministerial period.
