THE shake-up of the KwaZulu-Natal provincial government is set to deepen the factional divide within the ANC ahead of the local government elections.While the reshuffle had been expected, it may escalate tension in a province already ravaged by protests and political killings along factional lines.On Monday, there were running battles between reportedly disgruntled ANC members and police in KwaMashu, north of Durban, over candidates lists.
