Perhaps Fikile Mbalula should be minister of sport and procreation
Sport and Recreation Minister Fikile Mbalula takes the recreation part of his job as seriously as he does talking about sport. Recently, he made news again when talking about a widely reported fling he had with a model back in 2011. "This thing was a one-night stand," he said on a radio show about what some papers had reported was a two-night stand. Coming over all philosophical, he explained the meaning of "girlfriend" and the concepts of loyalty and cheating: "You know a girlfriend? It is someone who is steady, you go out with, you go to the movies, and even if you cheat, you are always loyal to her." Given his creative use of words such as "loyal", he really should be the minister of sport and creation. Or perhaps procreation. The kraal and the cash cow US president-elect Donald Trump’s ambitious infrastructure expenditure plans have some economists fretting about long-term debt, even though economic growth is likely to benefit in the short term. But at least he is saving the US ...
