The DA has tabled a formal motion of no confidence against embattled National Assembly speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula who announced on Thursday that she had taken special leave (https://www.businesslive.co.za/bd/national/2024-03-21-mapisa-nqakula-takes-special-leave-after-bribery-allegations/) from her position as speaker and from the ANC.
A debate on the motion of no confidence could take place as early as next week. ..
