It was a weekend awash with motorsport exploits ranging from the Formula One race in Austin, Texas to the MotoGP in Australia, not to mention the Motorsport Festival at Kyalami racetrack. Things are getting interesting in the F1 circus following this past weekend’s US Grand Prix, which saw Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes-AMG) take first spot ahead of team-mate Nico Rosberg, who now has a 26-point lead over Hamilton with three races to go. The Mercedes pair were followed in third by Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull Racing). Meanwhile, the Australian leg of the MotoGP championship saw Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda) as the man to beat in the top tier MotoGP class, followed in second by Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP). Maverick Vinales (Team Suzuki Ecstar) finished in third. In the Moto2 class, Thomas Luthi (Garage Plus Interwetten Kalex) took top honours ahead of Franco Morbidelli (Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS Kalex).
