THE seventh leg of the FIA World Rally Cross Championship took place this past weekend in Canada and it was the top-tier Supercar class that saw Timmy Hansen (Team Peugeot Hansen) take the laurels. He was followed in second position by Andreas Bakkerud (Hoonigan Racing Division) and Johan Kristofferson (Volkswagen RX Sweden).As it stands the championship leaderboard sees Petter Solberg ahead with 161 points, followed by Mattias Ekstrom on 157 points and Andreas Bakkerud with 132 points.Meanwhile, the eighth round of the 2016 World Touring Car Championship season took place at the Autodromo Termas de Rio Hondo, Argentina. This saw Jose Maria Lopez (Citroen Racing C-Elysee) win on home turf, followed in second position by Tom Coronet (Chevrolet Cruze) and Rob Huff (Castrol Honda Civic) in third spot. Championship standings currently see Lopez on 284 points and Tiago Monteiro (Honda) on 167 points, trailed by Yvan Muller (Citroen C-Elysee) in third position.Then it was the ADAC GT race...
