PORSCHE topped the timing charts during the World Endurance Championship (WEC) Prologue, which sets the scene for the championship that gets under way at Silverstone in the UK next month.Brendon Hartley claimed the best time with a 1 minute 37.445 seconds, which was the quickest overall time during the two days of running at the Circuit Paul Ricard in France.Porsche also claimed the second spot overall with Toyota Gazoo Racing, completing a fine public debut of its all-new TS050 hybrid to finish third overall ahead of the new 2016 Audi R18.For the title defender, the 2016 Porsche 919 hybrid, which was unveiled just before the Prologue, it was the first appearance in the surroundings of the World Championship as well. The Porsche team had two cars on site. On Friday car number two with drivers Romain Dumas, Neel Jani and Marc Lieb was on duty.
