LISTED technology firm Datacentrix said on Monday it was eyeing expansion on the continent, and was likely to use its parent company’s footprint to launch its services.Datacentrix is 55.03%-owned by technology group, Pinnacle.Datacentrix CEO Ahmed Mahomed said Datacentrix "has ambitions of expanding its footprint into Africa, and we can utilise Pinnacle’s footprint to accelerate this expansion".Through its subsidiaries, Pinnacle Africa, Centrafin, AxizWorkgroup and Datanet, Pinnacle distributes hardware and software products, offers implementation solutions and structured finance to its clients, mainly in Southern Africa.Datacentrix provides a range of technology solutions, including storage, networking, project management, consulting and cloud computing.Pinnacle CEO Arnold Fourie said Pinnacle could add value to Datacentrix by offering an entry point into certain African countries.Pinnacle’s subsidiaries operate in Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Angola, Lesotho, a...
