This week we received spy pictures of the latest collaboration between BMW and Toyota. The car you see here is the 2019 Toyota Supra, a car that will also become the new BMW Z5. Both will be built on the same line in the Magna-Steyr plant in Austria. About 60,000 of the two jointly developed cars will start production in 2018. The Toyota version will see the rebirth of the Supra badge, which will be available only as a coupe, while the BMW Z5 will replace the Z4 and revert to its original lighter, soft-top body style. While the CC was never a sales leader for VW, it became a cult car that brought new buyers who came for its style rather than for its firm ride, its small rear seat, limited rear headroom and compromised luggage space. The Arteon has been designed from the ground up to deliver the style advantages of the CC without the compromises.
