The second half of its financial year was stronger than the first, despite myriad challenges
AVI has a stable full of well-known brands and chances are quite high that at least one of its products would have found its way into most readers’ pantries or clothing cupboards over the years.
Before the hipsters discovered cappuccinos and lattes in coffee shops, Koffiehuis with Ellis Brown creamer was usually found in most households alongside Freshpak Rooibos tea, which would be duly dunked with a Bakers tennis biscuit. AVI’s products now range from not only hot beverages, snacks and foods but also to personal care products, footwear and fashion apparel which all trade under incredibly strong brand names...
