Students from the universities of Pretoria and SA gathered in Church Square on Thursday morning ahead of a march to the Union Building to demand no-fee tertiary education. Buses from the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) were still to arrive as law enforcement officers maintained a heavy presence after Tshwane metro police said the march could be declared illegal.
