Queues at the point of payment and the consequences of losing a parking ticket can be frustrating.But a new mobile app called KaChing Parking aims to change all that.Cofounder Jaco Marais says KaChing Parking uses licence plate recognition (LPR) technology to open the boom gate when users arrive at and exit a parking lot.It then automatically deducts the parking fee from the driver’s credit card or prepaid account.
