This afternoon it was trade and industry minister, Rob Davies. They have joined tourism minsiter, Derek Hanekom and Gauteng Premier, David Makhura, in publicly backing finance minister, Pravin Gordhan against the attempt to charge him with 'fraud'.On the other side of the fence, the ANC's North West region has joined the party's Ethekwini region and its youth and women's leagues in describing Gordhan as "possibly working with the opposition" to "weaken the ANC" according to a story on BusinessLIVE.And so the battle lines are slowly being drawn. Thuli Madonsela on this side, Des van Rooyen on the other.The position of the pro-Zuma camp is becoming more and more intemporate, with the youth leader, Collen Maine, calling on veterans to 'fetch their AKs' to defend Zuma in some imagined final battle ...
