Since launch in 2019, the Nedbank IMC has become Africa’s largest marketing conference.  Over 2000 delegates from over 15 countries attended the 2023 conference.  In 2023 the 800 in-person seats were sold out two months in advance. This one day of hard-hitting and relevant insights is appropriate to anyone, at any level, in any discipline of marketing/advertising.

The 2024 theme is:  Challenge yourself!  Keep Learning. Keep Leading. “Our theme this year stresses that you can never settle for what you already know” says IMC CEO Dale Hefer.  Always with the underlying mantra that Marketing is Business©

The event is hybrid with eight hundred in-person and over 2000 virtual delegates. Last year, the in-person tickets were sold out two months in advance.

Challenge yourself to be part of Africa’s most prestigious marketing conference.

The goal of the conference is to provide a neutral platform for the sharing of relevant industry insights and is aimed at promoting key industry initiatives.  In addition to driving marketing’s agenda via its collaborative and inclusive platform, the Nedbank IMC seeks to support the upliftment of the sector. The event’s bursary programme (in partnership with R&Y) and YOUTH1000 initiative (in partnership with MASA) are two ways in which the Nedbank IMC supports marketing’s rising stars.

The conference is presented in association with the Marketing Association of South Africa (MASA) and awards 18 CPD (continuous professional development) points for attendance.

2023 Highlights
