Re-issued Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) certificates
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released by the Company on 21 November 2023
advising that Zeda had completed its latest B-BBEE verification process and that it had secured a B-
BBEE certification Level 3 rating, while its operating subsidiaries retained their competitive B-BBEE
certification Level 1 ratings: Zeda Car Leasing (Pty) Ltd, trading as Avis Fleet and Zenith Car Rental
(Pty) Ltd, trading as Avis Rent a Car, Budget Rent a Car, and Avis Car Sales.
Zeda is advising that its rating agency has re-issued the Company's B-BBEE certificates to reflect the
Black Ownership Economic Interest and Black Women Ownership Economic Interest, in addition to the
Black Ownership Voting Rights and Black Women Ownership Voting Rights reflected in the original
certificates. There is no change in the scorecards and black ownership.
Zeda's B-BBEE certificate retains its Level 3 rating, with its operating subsidiaries retaining their Level
1 ratings.
The re-issued B-BBEE certificates have been published and are available on the Company´s website
at https://zeda.co.za/sustainability/bbbee-certificates/.
