Redemption of ZAR 1,942,000,000 Additional Tier 1 Notes issued on 20
February 2019 under the Standard Bank Group Limited's ZAR50 000 000 000
Domestic Medium Term Note Programme dated 13 November 2018.

On 20 February 2019, Standard Bank Group ('Standard Bank') issued
ZAR 1,942,000,000 Additional Tier 1 Notes (the 'SBT103 Notes').
The SBT103 Notes are subject to the terms and conditions contained in
the Programme Memorandum dated 13 November 2018 (the 'Programme
Memorandum') as read together with the Applicable Pricing Supplement
issued in respect of the SBT103 Notes dated 15 February 2019 (the
'Applicable Pricing Supplement').

In terms of the Applicable Pricing Supplement, Standard Bank has the
option to redeem the SBT103 Notes on 31 March 2024, subject to the prior
written approval of the Prudential Authority.
Pursuant to Condition 33(a) of the Applicable Pricing Supplement and
having obtained the requisite prior written approval from the Prudential
Authority, Standard Bank hereby gives notice that it shall redeem the
SBT103 Notes on 31 March 2024 at 100% of the aggregate nominal amount
thereof, together with any interest accrued thereon up until that date.
