Out There Media (OTM) is a leading global mobile advertising company. Our mission is simple: to create and offer to advertisers around the world a true alternative to the current Google and Facebook advertising duopoly.
Leveraging the scale, reach, and data of our global telco partners (including the likes of MTN, Vodacom, and Orange) via our proprietary technology platform Mobucks™, we help recognised brands such as Unilever, Pepsi and L’Oreal, reach their target audiences with successful, interactive and engaging mobile advertising campaigns.

RCS brings the rich functionality of messaging
Out There Media successfully launched the first large scale commercial RCS campaigns for McDonald’s and Disney via our partnership with Vodafone group and Vodacom in South Africa. RCS has been developed and is owned by the global telco community as a highly engaging, extremely interactive digital messaging platform to provide a trusted, secure and safe channel for brands to connect with consumers. RCS brings the rich functionality of messaging apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, directly to the native messaging app built into users’ phones. As a result, brands can benefit from this trusted, native environment that turns messaging into an interactive, feature-rich experience, putting advertising content, such as media, images, chatbots, videos and more, directly in the hands of the consumer. This opens a one-on-one dialogue directly with their target audience, allowing them to engage with them on a highly personalized basis.
Our success stories
More recently, through Out There Impact, Out There Media’s tech for good arm, we launched the largest global Covid-19 mobile messaging campaign on behalf of the World Health Organization (WHO). Via Out There Media’s technology platform, we are using mobile messaging, including RCS to reach hundreds of millions of citizens worldwide. The campaign is ongoing and thus far reached 300 million citizens globally with stunning results such as 96% read rate, 42% engagement rates and 40% of users opting in to receive more information from the WHO, proving and reiterating once more the high impact, value and success rate of mobile messaging.
To date, Out There Media has conducted and led several successful commercial campaigns with leading global brands, such as Huawei, P&G Pantene, McDonald’s and more, which have seen impressive results—average read rates above 70%, and click-through rates above 5.5%—beating current industry benchmarks for campaign engagement levels.
