The One Club for Creativity has selected seven SA creatives to serve as jury members for The One Show 2018. They will be part of a panel of 200 highly qualified creatives from 34 countries who will judge work from around the world.

The big take-out: Seven SA creatives will act as judges at The One Show. Winners will be announced in New York in May.

The South Africans on this year’s judging panel include Francois Du Preez, chief digital officer at Grey South Africa, Johannesburg, who will act as a judge on the interactive & user experience / user interface categories; Jenny Ehlers, executive creative director at King James, Cape Town, who will sit on the design panel; Jenny Glover, executive creative director at TBWA, Johannesburg, who will sit on the radio panel; Juliet Honey, creative director at Net#work BBDO, Johannesburg, who will sit on the direct panel; Pepe Marais, co-founder and group chief creative officer at Joe Public United, Johannesburg, who also will sit on the direct panel; Neo Mashigo, creative partner at M&C Saatchi Abel, Cape Town, who will sit on the print and outdoor panels; and Mariana O’Kelly, executive creative director at Ogilvy Johannesburg, who will sit on the radio panel as well.

The One Show is a leading global awards show for advertising, design and digital marketing that focuses on creativity of idea and quality of execution. Judging takes place in March 2018. Finalists will be announced in April and the awards ceremony will take place on May 9 and 11 in New York.
