Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan must not resign, because if he does he will be playing into President Jacob Zuma and the Guptas hands, who want to replace him with a "puppet", EFF leader Julius Malema says. "The Minister must not resign, Zuma must fire Pravin and when Pravin is fired … Cabinet must all resign," Malema said on Thursday. The EFF leader said if Gordhan were fired for rehiring someone, they should all resign because it was something they had all done. "They [Cabinet ministers] claim to be moralistic … resign in solidarity with Pravin." Malema also told those who were being approached for ministerial jobs to refuse them.
