When minibus taxi drivers choose, every day of the year, to overtake in the emergency lane — or into oncoming traffic in the turning lane — it’s no different from "tenderpreneurs", parastatal managers and our politicians pulling a quick one on the rest of us. Yet we’ve long resigned ourselves to the fact that such is the way of the road in SA.
