By preventing authorised dealers from selling its golf clubs online, Ping Europe has been found in contravention of competition law

This is a story with a line specially for weekend golfers. In a legal spat involving leading golf equipment company Ping, whose Europe division was accused of breaching UK and EU competition legislation, one of the judges delivered a memorable comment.
No less an authority than the chancellor of the High Court of England and Wales, Sir Geoffrey Vos, said: "As anyone who has ever played a round of golf will be able to attest, the clubs … used can hugely affect the quality of the game played."..
