Last Sunday I dropped into Exclusive Books in Sandton City to pick up a book I had ordered for a friend. It had been put aside by the store staff, ready and waiting for me, but I am a firm believer that you should never walk into a bookshop and leave without browsing.
This is one of the greatest pleasures of life. So I tucked my book under my arm and went to the SA nonfiction section, where I looked at the books and even forgot about Covid-19 for a while and touched them and opened some pages and read a bit...
