Terrible, isn’t it? There was poor Julius Malema and his merry band of red berets, berating Jacob Zuma and showing him up for the fraud he is, when along came Cyril Ramaphosa. And the world changed. Zuma was the gift horse that kept on giving scandals. Usually, corrupt politicians have mere allegations levelled against them. With Zuma, the evidence was all there and it was so compelling that his co-conspirators went to jail for giving him cash. Yes, I am talking about Schabir Shaik and the little matter of those 783 counts of fraud, racketeering and corruption that Zuma still refuses to explain and that Shaik served time for. You want some salacious sex stuff? Zuma slept with his friend’s daughter. Not once and not one friend. The past 13 years have been the Zuma years.
