The Free State premier needs to pay attention to his province, where he has set the bar so low that even the restaurant food is unappetising
What does Free State premier Ace Magashule do when he is not hosting Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, slyly hoping for a seat in her cabinet post-2019? He is certainly not making sure the province’s capital city is spick and span. Mangaung is looking a bit shabby, except for the bits around the University of the Free State. Yes, yes, I know that, strictly speaking, it’s not his job. It’s the mayor’s job. But really, he should have a word when he is not too busy being a member of the so-called premier league. Now, that’s a bunch. For those who don’t know, the "premier league" refers to the provincial premiers of Mpumalanga (David Mabuza), Free State (the said Magashule) and North West (Supra Mahumapelo). Their main goal is to get Dlamini-Zuma elected and protect the current president.
