In a time of hot air and inanity, the Turn ’n Tender restaurant chain seems to offer more value and reliability than your average politician
Politicians spout a lot of hot air. That’s because they have to open their mouths and say all kinds of things to people who don’t even want to hear them speak. So I wasn’t surprised last week when the future president of SA, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, opened her mouth and spewed some prime garbage. Dlamini-Zuma felt we needed to know she was shocked‚ "after speaking to the youth"‚ at what pupils are being taught at some schools. "They are actually taught against the ANC ... It’s not surprising that kids will think the ANC is corrupt‚ [the] ANC is useless ... because this is what they are fed at school and I think that must also be transformed," she fumed at a meeting in the Free State.Really? What’s truly amazing is that she actually believes this stuff. That’s the future president of SA. Don’t say you weren’t warned. But inane spoutings are common these days.
